Born: December 10, 1952 Brasov, Romania

writer (poetry, drama, fiction)

Attended the Polytechnical School of Timisoara (1973-78); after graduation sound engineer as well as lyrics writer and player in rock & jazz bands. Various contributions to academic journals and magazines.

December 1989 - January 1990  on the first editorial board of the Timisoara daily (the post-communist free press).

Has been living in Germany since 1990.

Orasul piticotilor mincinosi // The City of Mendacious Dwarfs - dramatization of a text by  Dumitru Toma for the use in a puppet performace (Puppet Theatre, Timisoara), 1988,  directed by Magdalena Klein, Scenary & puppet design by Krisztina Ivanescu, music by Ilie Stepan, (The show was suppressed by censorship after only a few public performances).
